Liberty Media Corporation trades publicly for the first time on Nasdaq under the symbols LBTYA and LBTYB.

August 4, 1994

Liberty Media Corporation merges with Tele-Communications, Inc.

August 10, 1995

TCI issues the Liberty Media Group tracking stock to shareholders. The tracking stock trades on Nasdaq under the same symbols LBTYA and LBTYB.

November 19, 1998

Tele-Communications International, Inc. (Nasdaq: TINTA/B) merges with Liberty Media Group.

March 9, 1999

TCI Ventures, Inc. (Nasdaq: TCIVA/B) merges with Liberty Media Group.

March 9, 1999

TCI and AT&T merge. As a result, Liberty Media becomes a tracking stock of AT&T. Liberty Media Group stock begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols LMG.A and LMG.B.

August 10, 2001

Liberty Media Corporation splits from AT&T and begins trading as a separate company on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols LMC.A and LMC.B.

January 1, 2002

Liberty Media Corporation Series A common stock begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol L. The Series B common stock continues to trade under the symbol LMC.B.

July 1, 2003

Liberty Media Corporation and Ascent Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMGIA) (f.k.a. Liberty Livewire Corporation) merge.

November 12, 2003

Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc.  (OTC Bulletin Board: LSTTA/B) merge.

March 15, 2004

Liberty announces the spin off of its international businesses into a separately traded company, Liberty Media International. The stock of the new company was distributed to existing Liberty Media Corporation shareholders as a dividend.

Liberty Media completes the spin of its international businesses into Liberty Media International, Inc. (Nasdaq: LBTYA, LBTYB)

March 15, 2005

Liberty Media announces the spin off of its ownership in Ascent Media Group and Discovery Communications, Inc. into a separately traded company called Discovery Holding Company. The stock of the new company is to be distributed to existing Liberty Media Corporation shareholders as a dividend

Liberty Media completes the spin of Discovery Holding Company (Nasdaq: DISCA, DISCB).

Liberty completes its restructuring of  the company and issues two new tracking stocks Liberty Capital Group and Liberty Interactive Group (NASDAQ:LCAPA/B and LINTA/B, respectively)

Liberty completes reclassification of the Liberty Capital Group and issues a new tracking stock for the Liberty Entertainment Group (NASDAQ: LMDIA/B)
