Executive Team

Robert R. Bennett has served on the Liberty Media Board of Directors since 1994 and became Chairman effective January 1, 2026. He is the Managing Director of Hilltop Investments, LLC, a private investment firm. Mr. Bennett also serves as Chairman of Liberty Live Holdings and as a director of Flutter Entertainment plc. Mr. Bennett previously served on the boards of HP Inc. and Warner Bros. Discovery, and was President of Discovery Holding Company. Earlier in his career at Liberty Media, he held several senior leadership positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer and Principal Financial Officer. Mr. Bennett also held roles at Tele‑Communications, Inc. and The Bank of New York.

Derek Chang is President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, a role he has held since January 2025. He has served on the boards of Liberty Media Corporation since 2021, Liberty Broadband Corporation since 2025, and Liberty Live Holdings since 2025. He will join the Yale University Board of Trustees on July 1, 2026, and also serves on The Paley Center for Media’s Board of Trustees.

Chang was Executive Chairman and remains a board member of EverPass Media, a venture he cofounded with the NFL and RedBird Capital Partners to distribute premium sports content to commercial venues. His previous board roles include Playfly Sports, the Professional Fighters League, ISOS Acquisition Corp (which merged with Bowlero), Vobile Group, and Starz.

Chang is the former CEO of NBA China and previously held senior leadership roles at Scripps Networks, DIRECTV, Charter Communications, the YES Network, and TCI Communications. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.

Brian J. Wendling serves as Chief Accounting Officer and Principal Financial Officer of Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Broadband Corporation. Mr. Wendling has held various positions with these companies and their predecessors since 1999. Prior to joining these companies, he worked in the assurance practice of the accounting firm, KPMG.

Mr. Wendling serves on the board of Comscore, Inc. and has previously served on the boards of Fun Technologies Inc. and CommerceHub, Inc. He also previously served on the board of Clothes to Kids of Colorado. Mr. Wendling received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University.

Philip J. Boeckman serves as Chief Legal Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Liberty Capital Corporation and Liberty Live Holdings. Mr. Boeckman was a Partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from 1999 to 2026. He joined the Firm’s New York office as an Associate in 1991 and relocated to its London office in 2000, where he served as Managing Partner and more recently as Co-Head of EMEA Capital Markets. Mr. Boeckman’s corporate practice at Cravath covered public and private companies and financial institutions, advising on a wide range of cross-border capital markets, financings, mergers, acquisitions, SEC reporting, governance and investigations.

Mr. Boeckman graduated cum laude from Westminster College in Missouri, where he serves on the Board of Trustees and as Senior Fellow for America’s National Churchill Museum, and received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Mr. Boeckman also serves on the Boards of the International Churchill Society and the Foundation for the United Nations Global Compact and was the Chair of the Society of English and American Lawyers.

Ben Oren serves as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Liberty Media Corporation and Liberty Broadband Corporation. Mr. Oren spent the previous twenty years in various investment banking roles. Most recently, Mr. Oren was a Managing Director with Credit Suisse, where he advised companies across multiple sectors including Technology, Media and Telecom on a broad set of capital markets transactions. At Credit Suisse, Mr. Oren was a member of the Investment Banking Committee, Corporate Insights Advisory Counsel, Capital Markets Innovation Counsel, and Americas Head of Liability Management. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Oren was an Executive Director at UBS Securities, LLC. Mr. Oren holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
